Caracal Cars, Inc. formally Lynx Cars, Inc. was founded in the latter part of the 1960's. Jon C. Mills, Fleet Underwood, and Bob Riley were the original partners. Three decades later C. Fred Clark is carrying on the purpose and winning tradition for which Lynx/Caracal was founded. Build a quality product that works, keep it simple, have service and parts and information available to our customers. Today's Caracals are built in Jacksonville, Florida by Clark Racing. The cars are constructed one at a time by the owner for quality control. Generally each chassis is built to customer's fit and preference. All chassis are tig welded and only the highest quality supporting parts are used. Complete kits, rolling chassis and complete cars are available. Clark Racing/Caracal Cars, Inc. can also fabricate any racing component for older cars or cars not manufactured any longer. We do engine and transmission work and crash damage for Formula Vees and have a large selection of used VW parts. Three
